just came across this camera shop online its called www.martinscamerashop.co.uk, im looking to buy the siggy 70-200 mkII and was wondering if anyone has used them before and gotten good service?

i suppose with this lens it would be ideal. i think. does it state anywhere on there website that there not uk models?
 
all i can find it this ''WARRANTY: All Cameras and Lenses sold on this site are covered by Nikon and Canon 12 months manufacturers warranty. All repairs will be carried out by Nikon and Canon''
 
If you get a vat invoice with your purchase, Sigma will honour the guarantee. I've bought two sigmas from abroad and have had to send both to Sigma, I had no problems because in both cases vat was paid and I had the receipt.

They are based in Leeds, heard mixed reviews about them. I contacted them about a lens and asked if I could collect as not too far away - never had a reply, tried again thinking it may have got overlooked / lost and again no reply - I believe you can collect, I wanted to confirm and find out how to order for collection. No response - I walked away !
 
i think i may just walk away from this little deal after reading a few more reviews from this place and also due to there being no information on the site whatsoever that states they do not sell uk lenses. ill pay that little bit extra me thinks.lol

i wish i had seen that post from kerso earlier, i paid 90 quid for my canon 50mm 1.8 earlier this week!
