Sorry guys took some tonight but I have not had time to download them so you might get today's photograph tomorrow........ Feel as though I am failing miserably at the moment. :'(

Carol

Don't feel bad! As long as they're taken on the day they count :) I'm sure you can post them any time.

I didn't even pick up the camera yesterday and I'm supposed to be doing 2-3 shots per day, you're definitely not failing!!

Hi,

Talking about shooting here is last night's photograph today!

My other hobby is 2.2 Target Shooting and this is one of my fellow shooters.........Don't panic the Anschutz was not loaded!

Could I have some CC on this one as I don't think I have made the most of this opportunity and would quite like to try it again.

Hi Carol,

I love this shot even though I keep looking at the screen and ducking out the way!

I love the empty shells and I think the focus ont he gun not the person makes it a bit more menacing. I do personally think it's a little dark still and a bit cramped in the frame but both only by a little bit.

Great shot, happy shooting...in both senses of the word!

I love light trails but don't have a road near me that is busy enough to get a depth of colour. Well done Vince I like a lot.

I'm wondering 2 things here as i am having a blonde moment :bonk:

1) where is it, Atherstone bypass ??

2) How do you get red lights both ways

Nice shot mate,
Atb
Cliff

Is the second set of red lights a train by any chance if you look at Vince's flickr account he cropped out the lights of the on-coming traffic.

Cliff yes it is the Atherstone bypass (just outside my house) and the shot was just one side of the road and Matt was right on his verdict

One from this morning. 4 secs.

Dawn at The Dolphins, Lepe beach. The Dolphins formed part of the pier head used to load ships departing for Normandy.
"On the 6 June 1944 thousands of troops with their vehicles and supplies left Britain for the beaches of Normandy. This was D-Day, the start of the great campaign to drive the German army out of France and to bring the Second World War to its end. The D-Day invasion, code named Operation Overlord, one of the most remarkable feats in military history, was under way. It had taken over two years of planning, and was one of the best kept secrets of the war."
