Hi all

Been here for a 1,000 posts now apparently

Thank you all for your help and support, I'm glad to say I've learned a great deal in the relatively short time I've been hereabouts; and if I've helped a couple of times too, that's great

My query then... SPAM???

When does a conversation become SPAM? I've had a few sessions on threads in discussion about a subject and not seen such called SPAM; yet when in 'normal' conversation for more than a few posts the word SPAM or accusation of 'SPAMMING' appears

Now I've no issue with anyone over it, just wondering why some conversations are SPAM and others not?

Thanks Marcel - i didn't realise the definition would be that technical :D

I note you're going to close the MSN thread, is this for spam? Or is there a reason why the forum can't have hugely long threads if members are happily playing in conversation?

Again, no issues here, just wondering how it works?

I think you'll find spam is when someone describes Nikon as being better than Canon:nono::rules:






































Or infact visa versa;)

I told him this. I said we were happily playing along in the thread and everyones MSN contacts have grown. And granted there is a lot of off-topic-ness, but we were in an "out of focus" group. Granted there may be some smuttiness....but surely thats no reason to close the thread. We've kept everyone entertained!

yep that took a lot of spamming
I think that arrives at about 1500and goes thro' to 5000 or something like that. Thats a lot of crap to post before I move onto the next level :D but I am working on it :lol:
