I dont know if this is actually any good but the price looks decent enough @ £19.99... What are your thoughts, is it worth getting? Im guessing those white leds might give a blue tinge

Mine's apparently at home.... Bloody RM (I assume) decided to leave it in one of our recycling bins, with no card or anything, so it was sheer luck that my wife found it this morning.

Might not get a chance to play with it tonight, but will defo do some shots in the next few days :)

Any luck shooting your test shots Matt?
Most interested to see them.

Good price - even cheaper than buying from China.

But is it any good? We await your results Matt & manualfocus-g!

I haven't had chance as yet... Been wrestling with laminate flooring since Thurs, but I will do some as soon as I get a chance (hopefully tonight, but can't promise!)

Perhaps Matt has done the equivalent of painting himself into a corner. I can just see him now, trapped under his laminate floor
Bet he’s wishing he had his 64 LED wonder with him!

LOL I Wish... Would be nice and peaceful then :D

Unfortunately I have quite a bit of paid work on at the moment, so that has to take priority - the shots are taken, I just haven't had chance to get them from the memory card, onto the computer yet!

I just bought one anyway after seeing those reviews Sam D posted - will post some test shots if none have arrived by the time I get mine. :)

I've recently bought one of these, but haven't used it yet. It is a very light light though. Look into it and has the same effect as a flash as far as eyes are concerned.

Apparently, you can buy something like this, but much cheaper from Halfords, as a demo of these were filmed at the SWPP convention last year by Mark Cleghorn.

The advantage of the one discussed on here, is that it has a foot for a hot/cold shoe.

Although I haven't used it yet, I can see it being a useful tool and a much cheaper alternative than the Lowel (SP?)

My son has played about with it, and with 4 Duracells in it, it has been on continuously for more than 30 mins and still as bright.

Can't really say much more about it ATM, but think it's going to be handy to keep in the camera bag.

Ah well, now I know I'm not the only one who buys 'useful' things and never gets around to using them :)

 Yeah, think everyone does that! ;)

I should have said though, it's really a Christmas present from my kids, and although my son and I have 'played' with it, it's now wrapped up waiting to be handed to me on Christmas day.

All very quiet here. Are the results so bad that people don't want to admit they have wasted £20? ;)

I'd be really interested to hear what the useful range of the light is. In other words how far does the light project?

I was considering getting one to use for MTB night riding.

Decent bike lights of this power are way more than £20 & I can always take some product shots when I get tired!

lol - be keen to see a shoot of that if nothing else!! :D

Or any shots taken with these for that matter!!
