£15000

ah...it's only a 2.8 - if it had been a 1.2 - I'd have jumped at it!;)

so can you tell me what is or what does L stand for ...is it Learner (lens) before going to Nikon :lol::lol:

will put my order in but dont think I'l order a green one .

Saw it at Focus-on Imaging show last year at the NEC. You need a Jeep convertable with a fixed mount to lug that Bazzoka around.

Just in case they pull the advert if someone buys it behind the scenes I thought I would grab a screen shot

Yup, it's Sigzilla...

The eBay photo doesn't do it any credit - this is far more effective!

looks really nice, really light weight too 15,700 grams, shouldnt be a problem getting hand held shots !!!!! lol

Shall we all chip in buy one and then stand around in London pointing it at buildings?

It says make offer, try £700, credit crunch and all that, they may go for it :D

I notice there's two available ... one for each hand

I'm going to get one....it would save me having to travel all the way from Glasgow to Oulton Park to take pics

Should come with a bullworker, heck you'll need it to build up your muscles to carry the thing.
Got this cartoon image in my head of it sitting on a gold laced satin cushion with some kind of holy light shining down on it and all of us bowing down to it saying "we are not worthy, we are not worthy".

What an awful colour (green) that is, and the handle looks like it came from a filing cabinet.

 That is bloody massive!!!

I want one :D

Life, you realise as you get older Matt is all about making descisions. Now do ya want the Sigma or your Mini.

Cus remember there is no way you are going to get the sigma into a mini...................:lol:

id love to have a lens that needed its own handle

Good Lord!! Actually does look like some kind of anti-tank missile!

You'd need one of these to hold it:

Is that the Wimberly mount for that lens?

I'm getting one next week as my walkaround lens,

I should be able to go into dodgey areas without worrying about someone stealing it, if they do i'll take it back off them when they collapse in exhaustion at the end of the road...
