Ha, yeah looks like it'll turn out to be a solid move, I captained Gabriel too but triple I used ages back. I need Wirtz to get a hat-trick or some other miracle lol

Are you aware that the chips all renewed at the start of the year so you should have another triple captain?

D'oh!! I actually did forget about the refresh! lol

Gabriel only needs get a CS, assist or goal and you're good on that front. The differentials are Wirtz/Zubimendi for me, Raya and Mané for you. I would still put you as favourite
 
At the top of the league New Oak Utd(63) increase their lead by 1 point to 49 ahead of Banished to Riyadh(62). Slot Machine(71) are now 8 points behind Banished to Riyadh. Biggin Bangers(78) are 11 points behind 3rd. Woodys Wonders lost a bit of ground and are now 43 points behind Biggin Bangers.

The average point score for the week was 58.

Highest scorer of the week was Fiendishly Bad with 81. :clap:

No Friday, or early Saturday game this week, so the deadline for making changes Sat 21st Feb @13:30.

In the Head2Head league the top of the table clash between New Oak Utd and Banished to Riyadh went to the former in a close 63-62 match up, and so New Oak Utd extend their lead to 7 points.

Slot Machine won their H2H with Deleted Player 71-62, and are now on equal 51 points with Banished to Riyadh, and only 8 points behind on total accumulated game points. Woodys Wonders are also on 51 points after winning against Horspath hounds 68-59 in 4th. In 5th are Biggin Bangers who beat AVERAGE 78-58. :clap:

Next for Deleted Player is scraping the barrel.

New Oak Utd's(39) lead at the top is reduced very slightly to Banished to Riyadh(42) to 46 points. Slot Machine(46) move to 4 points behind Banished to Riyadh.

Biggin Bangers(42) are now 15 points behind Slot Machine, and 46 points ahead of Woodys Wonders(39).

The average point score for the week was 45 points.

The highest scorers of the week were Fiendishly Bad and me, with 60 points. :) Unfortunately I am behind Fiendishly Bad, and so I remain 7 points behind them. :rolleyes: :LOL:

There is a Friday game this gameweek, so the deadline for making changes is Fri 27th Feb @18:30.

Btw, notice that they have started to add the custom AI generated badges to the table, and seeing how many of us have seemingly used that option, on a photography website, makes me think it hasn't took off that well. ;) :LOL: I would still prefer them to have the option of adding my own avatar. :headbang:

In the Head2Head league leader New Oak Utd lost to The Real Villa in a close 39-40 score. 2nd place Banished to Riyadh were not able to take full advantage of New Oak Utd's loss, as they drew with Biggin Bangers 42-42. They are now 6 points behind the leader.

In 3rd place, Slot Machine lost to Fiendishly Bad 46-60, and so stay 1 point behind Banished to Riyadh, as do 4th placed Woodys Wonders, who lost to me 39-60. I move up to 5th place, 3 points behind Woodys Wonders.

scraping the barrel beat Deleted Player 56-42. Next for Deleted Player is me. :)

At the top of the TP league, leader New Oak Utd extended their lead at the top 62 points ahead of Banished to Riyadh(86), after being highest scorer of the week with 102. :clap:

Slot Machine(72) went to 18 points behind Banished to Riyadh in 3th, and 19 points ahead of Biggin Bangers(68).

Woodys Wonders(46) are still 5th, 68 points behind Slot Machine, but now on equal points with me, after I got 74 points. :)

The average point score for the week was 53.

There are midweek games this week, and so the deadline for making changes is Tue 3rd Mar @18:00.

In the Head2Head league, leader New Oak Utd beat AVERAGE 102-53, :clap:and maintain their 6 point lead ahead of Banished to Riyadh after they came out ahead of Amber Army 86-60 in their match up.

Slot Machine remain in 3rd, still 1 point behind, after winning against Penfold's Dangermice 72-64. Woodys Wonders are still 4th, though now 4 points behind Slot Machine, after losing against Biggin Bangers 46-68 . I am now joint 4th with Woodys Wonders, same points, same accumulated points, after I beat Deleted Player 74-40.

Next for Deleted Player are Slot Machine.

The top two go head 2 head so New Oak Utd v Banished to Riyadh. So the lead could be extend to 9, reduced to 3, or stay at 6 points. ;) :LOL:

Not surprised with such a good week, and 16 point difference between your scores this week. Lets see what the H2H brings. :)

I'm crossing fingers for the underdog to make it a bit closer at the top. ;)
 
I have 4 players suddenly having a 75% chance of playing, after finally get a squad I am happy with, and who have been doing well. :rolleyes:

Just the one change for me [so far!] I have certainly learned from previous seasons to curb the enthusiasm a little when it comes to transfers

I have 2 on yellow - hopefully it stays that way

I'm 30 points behind in my H2H with scraping the barrel, with one game to go, and one player each to play. I need Mitchell to get about 10 goals against Henderson in Spurs v Palace. :oops: :$ :LOL:

I think you have both leagues won unless you go back to last seasons strategy of swapping half the team each week. I noticed you are 13,000 overall which is very high so well done.

Leader New Oak Utd(88) extend their lead at the top to 76 points ahead of Banished to Riyadh(74), and were also highest scorer of the week. :clap:

Biggin Bangers(77) move up to 3rd, 24 points behind Banished to Riyadh, and 3 points ahead of Slot Machine(55) who drop to 4th. Woodys Wonders(85) are still 5th, 57 points behind Slot Machine.

The average point score for the week was 54.

It's the FA Cup this week, so the next gameweek is quite a week away. The deadline for making changes is Sat 14th Mar @13:30.

Slot Machine are still 3rd, still one point behind, after losing their H2H with Deleted Player 55-77.

Woodys Wonders are still 4th, but now on equal 54 points with Slot Machine, after winning their match up with Horspath hounds 85-71.

Biggin Bangers move up to 5th after beating AVERAGE 77-54, and are now 2 points behind Woodys Wonders.

I've still got Haaland in the team, but Semenyo as captain, as he seems to be in better form atm. It will probably come back and bite me on the b**. :LOL:
 
It was a toss up for me between Bruno and Pedro, I stuck with Bruno but it was close.

I had Haaland up till this round, but looking at the points per monies ... though there's better I could do with the surplus over time - replaced with Sésko for the moment
 
Damn it! WHY! did Timber only play 37mins?? seems weird to take a def off after such a short time, injury? [I didn't see the match] but he doesn't get the CS

Slot Machine won their H2H against The Real Villa 62-56, and stay 3rd, 1 point behind Banished to Riyadh.

Biggin Bangers beat Deleted Player 63-53, and move up to 4th, now 2 points behind Slot Machine, and 1 point ahead of Woodys Wonders who were beaten by Amber Army 36-60.

Yeah up till the 88th minute of the Liverpool game I had it in the bag, I switched the game on about the 85th minute and thought to myself 'bet I'll jinx it now' lol ... CS in the bag, just hold on! :headbang:
