You must have bought the only X100F without a lens then![]()
I’ve got a brand new decent reader in the classifieds and have a barely used 512GB card I can list if interested.Yes, I've budgeted for that. I had actually looked at X-H2S's this morning before I went (not for the first time!!!), then late this afternoon I looked again, and Clifton Cameras had reduced their pre-loved one by 10% valid until the end of the month, resistance was futile![]()

I'll get a couple of cards ordered over the weekend (and a USB card reader)
At least I'm back to having a body for every lens that I own.......![]()
Thanks, but I placed orders earlier todayI’ve got a brand new decent reader in the classifieds and have a barely used 512GB card I can list if interested.

NotDaffodil by Ian, on FlickrSome sort of Lily is my best guess.A dying flower. Yellow, but I am pretty sure it isn't a daffodil. Beyond that I haven't a clue. Taken at 300mm, Fuji X-T2+100-400

Thanks for looking
I’m thinking about getting back into Fuji world - quite a few new lenses since I last used a Fuji.
Was thinking XT-3 or perhaps XT-4 if secondhand or an XT-30 iii if new - would they all offer similar image quality ?
Thanks
I totally agree with Mr Perceptive. I've had an X-T20, X-T30, X-T1 and X-T4 (which I still have). The bigger form factor is definitely more comfortable to hold, and the IBIS is definitely useful too (although there are plenty of lenses with IS, so it's not a dealbreaker). All same IQ (same sensor)
I would suggest thinking about whats important to you:-
IBIS
EVF Size (X-T30 has smaller EVF)
Handling and size
Controls (X-T3 is different to X-T4)
Would be high on my list. The X-T3 although older has similar AF performance to the X-T4 through firmware upgrades
Personally I would be going for X-T3 or X-T4, the small EVF and the slightly smaller size that makes it difficult to handle for me rules out the X-Txx series.
It’s the EVF that is the winner on the X-Tx series, but also they have WRI totally agree with Mr Perceptive. I've had an X-T20, X-T30, X-T1 and X-T4 (which I still have). Thanks I think an XT3 would be fine but I fancied the 16-50 2.8 but note it doesn’t have OIS…All same IQ (same sensor)

I forgot about the weather resistance. Yes, that's a definite plus. The EVF is better too, but the T20 & 30 were perfectly usable too. It’s the EVF that is the winner on the X-Tx series, but also they have WR
A lot of people don't rate the 16-80 F/4, but I'm very happy with mine, and the OIS is brilliant on it.Thanks I think an XT3 would be fine but I fancied the 16-50 2.8 but note it doesn’t have OIS…
I had one may moons ago and didn’t think it was great - and a bit weighty ?I forgot about the weather resistance. Yes, that's a definite plus. The EVF is better too, but the T20 & 30 were perfectly usable too.

Love this ….! Well seen…..!Windmill Campersite Froglands Isle of Wight. Quirky campsite with converted helicopters and other vehicles for glamping. Loved the little chicken house.

Fair enough!I had one may moons ago and didn’t think it was great - and a bit weighty ?
I tried an X-T5 when I did a Fuji photowalk last year. I have a grip on my T4 so it definitely felt smaller than that! When I took the grip off though it still felt smaller than my camera, but it fitted in my hand better, it feels like the grip is a couple of mm deeper. I’m not sure the weight would be noticeable once you factor in a lens though. Can anyone speak to the handling difference between the X-T4 and and X-T5? On paper it looks negligible but I’m wondering if the increased size and weight of the X-T4 feels noticeable in actual use

So the T4 has the same flippy screen as the X-H?I’ve had both. They handle similarly. No mistaking the XT vibe. Missed having the flippyflappyscreenthingy on the T5 though.

Just pondering on either…not that you save a huge amount on a T4!

Thanks that’s good advice, the 18-55 is a nice lens but I would need something wider - Viltrox 9mm possibly and hope that at 9mm I won’t need any image stabilisation..Currently the XF16-50mm F2.8 is holding its price quite well, Unless you find a split kit, you will be paying a lot more than for an XF18-55mm or XF16-80mm.
Yes it doesn't have OIS so if you want some form of stabilisation then the X-T4 + XF16-50mm. However using dealer prices, this pre-loved combo is fast approaching the price of a new X-T50+16-50mm bundle, and with show deals immenient in the next couple of weeks with the Photography Show, then the gap will narrow.
My preference is always bang for buck, so I would be looking at a pre-loved X-T3 plus the original XF18-55mm to start with, buying carefully thats about £700-£750, leaving some budget for other lenses, etc.
Thanks Peter much appreciatedLove this ….! Well seen…..!
