Canon Pixma Pro 100s printing magenta

OK but was the the profile produced using a test print from your individual printer? If not then you are using a generic profile. I don't know if Canon produce custom profiles but it be worth checking.

The one weak spot I can see is that if you are using the paper manufacturer's generic profile then see if they can produce a profile for your own printer. Permajet for instance do this and I found a difference on some of their papers. Incidentally I use a Pro 100.

Another bean bag tip/trick... this one is probably free.

The solution is simple. If you carry the beabag yourself then polystyrene beads is the way to go. However If your significant other half is with you and carries the beanbag then you really must have firm support so rice is nice.;) Please don't tell your SOH I said this.

Just a heads up that there is a firmware update available for the EM-1 MkII apparently designed to "improve the stability" of RAW files, whatever that means. Just updated mine successfully.

    Peak Designed Straps.

I suppose so, but a camera is a tool right? We take pride in our cars, but if we take them on the road then stone chips are inevitable. If you really want to keep your camera pristine for years and years, then leave it in your bag. As I suggested earlier, by using your camera you are more likely...

    Peak Designed Straps.

I've used a slide lite on my EM-1 since I bought it back in November. It has never been off the camera whether in or out of the bag and I have no issues. The buckles are very rounded so unless they are deliberately rubbed against the camera body, I feel they would be unlikely to cause damage...

    Secure Strap

I use the the Peak Design Slide Lite on my EM-1 MarkII attached solely by two tabs on the supplied tripod plate. It works really well for me with the advantage that I can use the plate on my tripod without having to detach the tabs.

    Beginner Canon cheat Sheets

Phil V is talking sense. I'm not sure that you will learn much about photography from a "cheat sheet". If you are serious about the subject you need to gain an in depth knowledge of why you set up your camera in a certain way for your subject, conditions and intended shot. To merely use settings...

    Topaz support (or lack thereof)

Has anyone else had occasion to raise a support ticket for any Topaz software? I have (or had) a problem with Remask and raised a ticket. Within twenty four hours I received a reply apologising that they were really busy and would reply asap. That was aver a fortnight ago and despite a...
