Sounds OK apart from the EVF. How is this problematic. Is the image not clear? I'll have to go and have a look at one.

They don't look too shabby. Can you print large from them, say A3?

The D7000 is a superb image making machine and is small and easy to get used to. It is hard to fault it. Just have a look at some images produced by it - they are so sharp. I would have no hesitation recommending it (I have one myself and love it).

As an example I have just mounted and framed an A3 print taken on a panasonic LX3. It looks superb and is only marginally poorer quality at this size than my D7000 images. And it fits in my pocket.

Richard I've owned most modern cameras including a 1DsIII and 5DmkII and they have their advantages. However, even the best of those does not campare to sheer joy of both taking the pictures, and printing the images from an M8 or an M9. I can say that because I've owned them and used them...
