The comparison with the e-m1 may not be fair, I agree. The e-m5 or e-m10 are close in iq to the e-m1 and can be a very good choice. As they are cheaper, it leaves more to spend on the important part: the lenses.

The e-m1 has a better score in dynamic range and color depth compared to the 70d http://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/Compare/Side-by-side/Olympus-OM-D-E-M1-versus-Canon-EOS-70D___909_895 M43 looses in low iso. The sony a7r is so much better in all three... But it has it's quirks too

I have a sony a7r and a olympus e-m5. Totally different beasts! The olly is perfect for street, travel, candid portraits... anything that needs to be taken on the spur of the moment. The quality of the a7r files are much much better, I use it for landscapes, macro, portraits. I got my e-m5...

Got a cheap 105mm cap on ebay. Doesn't fit. 10€ down the drain...

+1 Now, I have the polariser, it is very large and I still think a cap would be usefull to move the camera around. Any ideas ?

Thanks for the good ideas, but I'm not sure a pinch cap will stay on a slim filter...

I'm about to upgrade my lee foundation kit with a 105mm polariser. I found a slim heliopan 105mm at teamworkphoto but it doesn't come with a lens cap. I cannot find one anywhere. Does anyone have experience with this problem ? I could get a b+w slim that does come with a cap but it is not MRC...

Wimberley make flash brackets to for a dual flash setup ($169x2 + $85 for the M-8 plate). Does anyone here own a set ? The "gorillapod-like" arms seem more flexible, but Wimberley being Wimberley...

Thanks for the answer, I wonder if the ebay arm is as solid as the Novoflex arm... maybe the R1 is good enough but it is less flexible for lighting the background for instance and the batteries in the SB-R200 are not standard AA.

Hello, I'm thinking about working on my macro photography more this coming year and I am aware that light is important.So much so that I want to use flashes better. I shoot with Nikon D700 and I have a SB900 that I hold in my right hand while my camera body is resting on my right forearm...
