It’s hard to say if they are or aren’t without seeing any images. I have a good quality softbox and studio head and I can produce some awful work with it if it don’t put it in the right place. I’ve also produced very pleasing light with a flash in a cheap umbrella.
Ah thanks. I don’t have need for the full kit though, probably only need one head and receiver. Possibly the stand too. Definitely don’t need the umbrellas. Would you be willing to split it?
Thanks Garry, that’s helpful. I noticed there aren’t as many options with the Lencarta flashes as there was when I bought my kit. They seem to be focusing on the Godex units now.
I have a Lencarta smartflash 2 and was wanting to add another flash head. On their website I see they are now smartflash 4. Is it the same trigger system for both now? If not what do I need to do to get them to work together?
I have the 100cm lencarta profold softbox which I love but I'm looking for something similar in say 60cm. Does anyone know of one which is as good and easy to put up and down as the profold but smaller?
I'm genuinely shocked that anyone would question this being NHS funded. Without help that girl could easily die. She's not just on a fad diet, she's seriously ill and cannot help but do what she's doing without treatment.
I was expecting to open the link and find this was for a boob job or...
I can't stand it when people put an apostrophe in 'photo's' where it doesn't belong. 'I love to take photo's of .....'. It bothers me even more when I see professional photographers use it. Spelling and grammar doesn't bother me in general but this gets to me.
Are you planning to use the lights for more than just one photoshoot of your friend's baby? If it's just for this one shoot you'd be better just finding a big window and using natural light I would have thought.
Have you every photographed a newborn? As someone who's not long had a baby...
I second this recommendation. I was using natural light for my daughter but decided to get this kit as I wasn't getting enough light for what I wanted to do. I'm only using one head so far so you could try starting with that. Here's a couple of shots I've managed to get so far...
A few months ago I attended a baby show and there was a photographer there displaying their work. She had some of her photos displayed in acrylic panels that were circular rather than he usual square or rectangle.
I've not seen anything like this before and would like to get one of my own...
Actually, people who earn more DO pay more tax. ie 20% of £30k is more than 20% of £20k. Then there are those that fall into the 40% tax bracket who pay even more.
