I've got to agree with the majority in here, manual really is the only way. Only thing to watch out for is if the colours of the lights shift, I often find the red lights are less intense than other colours.

I Have the Hi-Tech pouch and its very nice! Filters fit snugly and are protected well. Price is a bit high but I couldn't find anything of similar quality for cheaper. Just my thoughts :)

Just got back from this today! Such a good exhibition, wonderful photos and a great documentary to watch of Steve McCurry trying to find the Afghan girl now. Recommend it to anyone :thumbs:

Is it possible that you may be moving back and forwards ever so slightly at F/1.8 ? The amount of the subject in focus at that aperature is very small indeed. Just a thought :)

I took my DSLR to old trafford when i went to watch Soccer Aid the other month ? So did quite a few others Judging by the amount I saw ! However, that was a charity match so restrictions were probably not as harsh :shrug: ?

In my experience, the 75-300mm isn't very good. Id take the 55-250mm over it every time unless you REALLY need the length of the 300! However, i've also used the tamron 70-300mm and in my opinion the canon is margainly bettter than the tamron An example shot with the canon 75-300mm : Hope...

I'd Say Motorsport and Landscape more than anything, bur being an amateur im willing to try everything :D

Just saw this thread! if its your first time going your absoloutley going to love it! Outside of the track your going to need a lens with a focal length of atleast 200mm in my experience. Keep the shutter high but not to high that subjects look static, also try panning the bikes down...

Hi, I'm also facing the same dilema really. I've decided on not taking the DSLR into the parks as i'd much rather be on the rides enjoying myself than photography :D However i will be taking it for when were not in the parks, as you say Kennedy Space Centre. Orlando is a very photogenic...
