MPB - how accurate are their "instant valuations"

Used them loads and never had an offer less than the online valuation. My most recent trade in of a body valued at £510 was upgraded to £550 when they received and inspected it. I've always been very happy with the service.

    Sams Labs

Just received 4 A3 prints from Sams Labs and am delighted with the service. Uploaded the images yesterday afternoon, and four fantastic prints arrived this morning for less than £10 delivered. Prints seem excellent so am well happy. In contrast an order for 4 prints from Loxley took one week to...

    Loxley Wont Load!

I used Loxley for the first time yesterday via my Virgin media broadband and had no problems at all, so I don't think it can be affecting all virgin customers.

    first rant of 2011..Petrol prices!

Bad news I'm afraid, the vat rate doesn't actually go up until Tuesday the 4th. The rises today are due to the fuel duty levy that Alistair Darling announced and Osbourne decided to keep. The prices will be even higher come Tuesday. A real double whammy!!

Is Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows OK for 8 year olds ?

My eight year old went to see it yesterday with his 11 year old brother, and wasn't the slightest bit bothered by any of the scenes. I don't think he understood much of the plot though, but still thought it was great!

    Cleaning multi coated filters

The simple act of breathing on the filter and then wiped with the Lee cloth has helped considerably thanks. Why didn't I think of that!!!! Thanks everyone for their advice.

    Cleaning multi coated filters

I've managed to get a fingerprint on my multicoated Calumet polariser and can't seem to shift it. I've tried a Lee Filter cloth and Lens pen with no success, as they have both just left a smear. Anyone got any tips on how to clean these types of filter?

    ND Filters - advice needed

Forgot to say , you may need a 77mm wide angle adaptor to connect the holder to the lens.

    ND Filters - advice needed

I think you'll need the 100mm size for the wide angle lens that you're using. I would recommend the Lee Filter holder combined with the Hi-tech filters. If you want to get a plain ND aswell, then get a 100mm slot in one aswell.

    Lee Big Stopper

I would put your name down on a waiting list at a supplier. I'm down for one at teamworkphoto and they think it might be 4 weeks before stock arrives. Apparently there are so many on pre-order, that when stock comes in it is already "sold" to those on the list, and they don't have time to hit...
