I edit on an iPad, Lightroom is super fast on it (admittedly the 40mp of the X-H2 while i had it to try were noticeably slow to load but that was a newest iPad Mini not an M1 variant which are much faster and have more RAM).
Only to say that a base Mac Mini with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage or a...
X-T4 and later (so I am assuming X100V is the same) do not come with external battery chargers just a USB-C cable to charge the battery in camera so it looks like that if it is just camera and battery then you 'll need to get a usb-c cable or an external battery charger.
yes that's what i'll have to do it is just that it will then require it for me to remember which custom setting needs the different auti-iso and after changing the custom setting also changing auto iso. A bit annoying.
Yeah that would have been a solution but there is no Auto-ISO option for the Q menu sadly. Another small win for the X-T5/X-H2 level cameras. I will just settle and set one of the click wheels to it. Thanks for the replies though !
Sorry not quite, I don't think I am explaining this very well. So I have different setups for custom settings C1-C7. Some of those setups work better with different Auto-ISO settings. For example my C1 setup works best with Auto-ISO min above 800. So I have Auto-ISO 1 setup with min ISO 800, max...
I think the other big difference is that for smaller hands the X-H2 can be quite awkward to handle. My hand struggles to wrap around the grip and I find the back wheel hard to use unless I hold the camera with both hands. I absolutely loved the build quality and the EVF of the X-H2 though. If...
After trying the X-H2 and being realistic about my needs and wants (really wanted a bit more flexible custom settings than my X-T3 and IS) I bought an £879 from them. Came unboxed and with an EU charger plug and with a couple paint scuffs here and there but other than that for half the price of...
All the F2s are great very small and portable well priced and WR would match well a stabilised body.
Love the 90mm I got from the classifieds here but it is a rather specialised focal length.
Yeap that's sums it up. The X-H2 is the better camera specs wise, bigger buffer, full 8k the articulating screen so it comes down to how much you value the dials and the 150 grams it weighs less. I have an X-T3 and love it but I am renting an X-H2 (free if you rent for up to two days though you...
Well removing the cooler replacing the CPU, applying thermal paste you are not far off...
Also we can agree to disagree on dead end despite getting your point, having said that I am on 2600 R5, I can easily get 70-80% more performance for £160 and much more than double it for £250. All I was...
I'd get the cheapest i7 9700 variety assuming you can actually find it anywhere (they are now 3-4 generations old so your best bet is s/h and not sure I'd trust CPUs from ebay...)
The 9900 is about 20%-50% faster depending on application so I think for that you need to take into account the...
Point and shoot cameras are a dying breed. Modern smart phones are better than the vast majority of them nowadays, they are also more flexible definitely pocketable and are also much better at showcasing/reviewing your images. They are also excellent at video too.
Not sure why you are...
