i really cant take much of the credit for these as the pro doing the course was guiding us and the model was a natural too and needed no direction from me.

As already said budget tyres I've had have been crap in the wet and tyres along with brakes is really not a place to skimp.

Ive just got an 18-200 and first impressions are wow but thats probably because ive never had anything bigger than the kit 18-55, loving the zoom and flexibility. I was looking at also getting a prime next either a 50 or 35. Can you elaborate on what you're not keen on about them?
