I just bought the hahnel HRC 280 for my canon 30D. Got 2 test shots with it then nothing. It will autofocus but obviously completely useless without releasing the shutter. Anyone looking for a remote shutter release, avoid this one! Complete rubbish!! Oh and the reason for him advising you on...

Wise idea matty. I enjoyed the first half but decided against sharing my memories of that day once the squabbling started! A facinating set of images btw. My hat off to the composure of the officer taking these shots.

Have to agree with A. on this. I bought the 24-105 from kerso a couple of years ago. Service was good and he was cheaper than anyone. If I remember correctly, Lens and battery grip (canon) cost less than 700 quid.

They are organised in photoshop and easy to find. On the computer they are just a long list of files and dates.

Is there a way to upload images direcly from elements 6 to flickr? As in when I search to upload onto flicker I only seem to be able to look in my files and pictures, not photoshop. Appologies if this is so obvious that if it had teeth it would bit me on the arse, but i cant fathom it!:cuckoo:

Ooh go on show us!! IMO I never use the DOF button for landscape or anything else for that matter. From what I know the D40x is a good lightweight body. so upgrading to a bigger heavier model would probably not meet your needs I'm afraid I cant recomend a nokon lens (being canon myself)...

Why?

I would only buy canon lenses for the simple reason I use a canon camera. Anything else would be like putting Skoda wheels on a Jag. :shrug:

Bought my 30D shortly after they were released, (spring 06 I think), so paid top dollar for it. Its taken me until last week to buy my first bit of L glass and now I can see what this camera can 'Really' do. If I manage to get hold of the 'ever growing' list of lenses by the time the 50D is...

For birds and planes you'll deffinatly want the reach of the 100-400. A cracking lens!

Its her 40th birthday next month. I'll make it up to her then. A new set of pans I reckon! :bonk:
