With both RF you can use EF lenses with adaptor and if the lens has IS get up-to 8x IS. The only shame for me was they didnt put a higher MB sensor in the R6. Also with mirrorless get the option of mechanical shutter or electronic.
That would just be a fun project... I will do this but would like a "proper camera" that she can get photos and we do prints for (y)
This is a great idea just want something like that but something a little more sturdy as the canon compact we have is so damn fragile and thats the wifes lol
?????
Thanks ... thinking something not very heavy for now, if i still had the 500d that would have gone to her. Will check out the tough series really appreciate the advice
We are after a camera for our 8 year old. Does anyone have any recommendations? She is very artistic person, but we would better to have something that is a little more sturdy.
Looking at the under £100, we have seen some 18MP kiddie kiddie cameras but if there is any decent compacts that...
I know this probably doesn't help but I have Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and its great and nice and sharp suspect the same will be for the sigma. Wont touch sharpness of a prime but you dont expect that.
My Laptop (PC) is from 2012 its getting dog slow now for LR and PS. Desperately needs an upgrade but is still a little power house for everything else.
All the reviews ive seen say the EOS R AF is loads better than the Nikon Z's, but both Nikon and Canon are notorious for crippling their cameras for some unknown reason. As you say its all in infancy but really hope R2 is a lot better at least with FPS same as 5d Mk III.
Great post exactly what I've been considering... EOS R upgrade from 7Dii however biggest concern is the serious lack of FPS. I really don't get why Canon have chopped it at its balls. I do wonder if someone will hack the software and upgrade that.
But is definitely something I will look to...
There is very little between all the newer macro lenses really.
Had both Tamron / Sigma and played many times with Canon too.
All top draw quality wise only issue I've ever had was Tammy picked up some fungus on element though was never in any wet conditions. Sigma was great too.
