Try some natural lighting by a window for starters, it gives u a real feel for lighting a portrait :D

Well worth the investment when you have heavy kit:D

Just had a play in my back yard with the 24-70.... omg its razor sharp!!:D One draw back though.. and its prob the only draw back.. Weight!!! onwards and upwards eh!

I have been approached by a local musician to capture some images of up and coming bands in my local area. I have captured some nice pictures with my 70-200 2.8 in the larger venues but seem a little stuck to the back of the venue due to the focal length. I have a 35mm 1.8 which has been great...
