shabba thanks for the head up... but im more keen now on a wide angle! Im a novice but feel comfortable with the manual setting - im just not like some of you guys on here - pros and great photographers!

Cheers Dougie, The glencourse pic looks great! i guess if i can get a good deal on the cannon then that would be a great choice- I just thought the sigma was good value. What do you mean by "soft ones"?
