    Decent binoculars at Lidl

Had a set of these for a few yeas now. They were about £12 then! I can't recommend them enough. At the price you'll not find anything better without spending another £20-£30. Just make sure you check them well as I've heard of focus issues on the odd 'rogue' set.

    Long Lens Advice

Thanks for all the advice guys. Everyone seems to rate everything so I'm still undecided lol. Think I'll have to stick with the 100-400mm for now and see if I can try the others first.

    Long Lens Advice

Thanks guys. I'm not really concerned that I'm short. Just wondered whether IQ would be better with a fixed prime. I thought it may be better than a zoom? I realise the convertor would be of no use with the 400mm.

    Photography Hide

Cheers Brian - I did look at that one but it won't be 'mobile' enough for my needs.

    Photography Hide

Cheers for that - certainly some more options. I follow the rut up on the hills and unlike the parks the deer there are difficult to approach. Sometimes it pays to sit it out but others you need to follow the herd (especially at the start/end of the rut).

    Photography Hide

For those that use one could you give your thoughts/ recommendations please? I like to be mobile in my approach especially during the deer rut so was thinking of the throw over bag hide from wildlife watching supplies.
