It now works. From pressing the shutter an orange light flashes on the front of the camera for approx 10 seconds before the flash fires twice. Is this right or is there a setting I need to change? Thanks for the help so far

Pushed into the shoe as far as it will go, locked and switched on.

There is an M There is an M option, S1, S2 and RX options. I assume the S1 and S2 options are the slaves?

Hi all.m Just bought my first darling, a canon 700d and picked up a yongnuo yn560-iii flash. Attached the flash to the hot shoe and nothing. Flash doesn't fire and can't get into the external flash settings in the menu as the camera isn't recognising the flash. Is there something I am doing...
