I've just got a 1.7TC for my 300 F4. Also not sure about 1.4 or 1.7 but quite happy so far, pics on the bird forum are the first few shots. I'm sure can only improve. Steve

Hello everyone, my first post, hope to gain from the experiences here. Sorry to hi-jack the thread but am also looking at teleconvertors for my 300 f4 afs. Apart from Martyn does anyone else use a 1.7 and can comment on their image quality. Thanks Steve.
