I'd still tell them that it hasn't last a reasonable amount if time. Quote consume right information to them and they will know you mean business. They will always tell you to pay as a first line of defence. It's their business after all.

I have similar issues. Not quite as bad but I do have them. I find I stress more about the little things when the bigger this are out of my control (or at least feel like they are). What I do is break down the bigger issues into smaller ones and then work out whether I can do something about it...
