    Dull as ......

Don't worry, you're not on your own. I've always said that too! Mind you, I stand by it. Dishwater is equally as dull as ditchwater - more so in fact! :-D

Quality of Photos for Critique gone downhill??

Interesting thread this. I haven't spent much time on the critique section for some time now but have picked up my visits again in recent weeks, even posted a shot up in the portrait section the other day for comments. Being completely honest, I agree with the OP - when I compare the quality of...

    Advice Needed - Tall(ish) Tripod

I'm after some advice on the best tripod/head to go for. I'm shortly going to be doing some simple portrait shooting of sports players. I did this last year and found after a short period my arms were giving in on me - such a weakling!. I vowed to get a tripod sorted in time for this year...

    What am I missing??

Ok everyone, i'm obviously being completely dense here so am hoping someone can show me the simple thing that i'm missing/doing wrong! I've picked up a D300 as a second body to back up my D3. Taken some shots the other day and the colours on my D300 aren't a patch on the D3 - the difference is...

Can folk recommend a short Zoom F2.8

I have a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 which I picked up second hand on here last year for £190. Fantastic lens, pin sharp on everything i've used it for. Not sure if that would be wide enough for you though?
