thats so much better, look at the nice blue sky and deeper colours, sort of brings it to life. so my question is,,,,, can i get better results by changing my camera settings ? from auto white balance and auto iso ?

hi everyone, at the moment i have a sony a300 which is very large and not ideal, as i get around on my motorcycle taking photos and travelling. im looking to upgrade to a more modern camera (with video recording) but i want something nice and compact as this sony takes up my whole top box lol...

this is a good example ? a nice pic, ok it needs a bit of cropping maybe ? but dull and colourless, or am i being fussy lol, it was a cloudy day

just a quick one guys n gals, my camera sony a300, sony 50mm lens. when taking outdoor pics on low light days (cloudy) im finding the pics a bit dull and colourless, Aperture priority, auto iso, auto white balance, do u think i should try setting the iso too 400 maybe, got my creative styling...

why do filters even excist if you lot dont like them :thinking: i just wanted to be able to take some slow shutter shots in the day time thats all. and everytime i do theyre over exposed :shrug: anyway thanks for all your helpful comments :coat:

ok so is there an all round filter u can recommend please guys ? one that goes from clear to really dark (plenty of stops) :D
