I had the intention of purchasing this lens to use with my 7D but seeing as it's only compatible with cropped sensors, it will cause me a problem when I upgrade to a 6D/5D3 I'm after a suitable alternative, and it'll mainly be used for landscape and the odd portrait. Suggestions please :)

Thanks for your input, it does help me work out what I want to do. I don't find the IQ with my 7D that bad, but the time it takes to process a long exposure is doing my head in. A 30s exposure can take up to 1 min. I also don't used the high FPS that often and when I do its for macro in the...
