yes, that's a very nice one...much more expensive however. SSP is inexpensive there are many free solutions too: SimpleViewer (Flash) Photoblogs (PixelPost, Folderblog) Database driven galleries (Menalto Gallery, Coppermine) Blogs (wordpress etc.) Javascript/DHTML/AJAX etc.

flash slideshows can be integrated directly into blogs or html pages..making the updates very easy. Janice: your website is fine, I don't see any reason to change it. Looks great as is.

Personally I never bothered with Director and 90% of the problems on the SSP Forums are due to Director. Handcoding or some free xml generators such as xml4ssp are my preference.

You're right that it is slow right now..and when I have the time I will see how I can get it to preload more efficiently, but should it take 17 seconds on your connection?

Thank you. I plan to make a few trips to London this summer and fall (business) and will certainly ask for advice in these forums on where to shoot birds (the avian type) and other natural wonders. :)
