I am in complete shock I knew Steve & counted him as a personal friend from our times photographing Rugby League, Steve was a great bloke & i will miss him our chats & the odd pint of shandy we shared at games, my thoughts go out to his family at this very sad time. God Bless ya mate. Steve.

So you would be happy that as a Pro photographer you could not make the money to keep your family, while Canon pro services decide wether or not you deserve their help when their very expensive pro grade equipment fails, try telling the children when there is no food on the table next month...

I have herd this about Nikon offering trade ins for your canon gear from a few other photographers at matches i have covered recently but never managed to find any thing about it myself does anyone have any details ?

its an old lens so cant find a manual on the canon site cheers for the help anyway it is mainly the small switch second from the bottom that has me stumped it dont take much haha

Can anyone help with what the switches on the 300mm 2.8 non IS do,I have just picked up a used one & i have a pretty good idea on most of them but the bottom 2 are a bit of a mystery atm. Thanks Steve.
