    Can you trust camera reviews?

I think reviews are like anything else you need a good cross section not just one opinion. There are a number of bias reviews out there.

    SSD Help please

I run an ocz vertex 2 as my boot drive and have a small ocz agility ssd purely as a scratch disk for photoshop. It loads photoshop in a second and is really quick compared to pre ssd. Money well spent

    Garage studio

Mine is just a standard single garage. I've left the original door but it's sealed up inside and out. The roof does go up slightly at the end which is my "good" wall so that helps. I have two Bowens Gemini 500 watt lights and two softboxes. I got some wall booms for them to give me loads of...

    Cheap black background solution

Black velvet from Dunelm. I got the last bit of it so it's on the cardboard roll. Went to b&q and bought a wardrobe pole and two hangers for under £10. I just glued one end of the fabric to the cardboard roll and put it up and down as I need it.

Hello I'm new to the forum and wondered if anyone has converted a garage into a studio. I've just done mine and would be interested in any lighting tips. Thanks Simon
