Thanks to Mister E and someguy MisterE..already tried othe USBs.all at rear anyway, only have one camera/USB lead. Someguy..installed the Revo,cannot understand the resulting list but as a novice I do not know how to get a screenshot,or even post it if I hd one,would appreciate guidance here...

Peter the problem is the computer won't complete the installation of the Kodak Easyshare program. The Windows Camera and scanner wizard just gets halfway thro' downloading from camera then says the camera isn't connected .it doesn't seemto recognise the camera which is why I have been trying...

No reason at all........it's just that I had the program in there before the computer problem and am used to the Easyshare system. also I bother about wear and tear on the cards and the camera socket. Finally there is clearly something wrong with the computer and I would appreciate any ideas...

Did the Microsoft.Net Framework repair and this led me also to the latest Kodak software download still stops as before with same error number.

hi Neil Tried that.installation stops about three quarters of the way through saying there is a problem try again but trying again gets to the same hold up!
