I'd be interested in this as well, i've got the Hitech 85mm 10 stop on a Cokin holder and mine leaks light. I cut a thin plastic insert that i slot in alongside the filter, against the foam, seems to work so far.

I recently got the yn-560 II from Amazon and I've been very pleased with it so far. Agree with viewing the screen though, just need to drop the stand down to view properly. Nice powerful flash though.

I'd agree with Graeme_ncl, I upgraded my 18-55 IS kit lens a while back and got the Sigma 17-50 f2.8 and love it.
