If it's anything like the D40 you can choose from 1,5,10 or 15 minutes duration from the CSM/Setup menu.
Have you got & read the manual? You can download a PDF one from the Nikon website.
That seems like great value for money when compared to equivalent Canon/Nikon models.
It really depends on your budget and whether you want new or used....
Couldn't agree more - and if you're patient (and lucky?)a memory card & bag could also be included.
Keep an eye on the classifieds and be prepared to haggle!

Sounds excessive to me;I'd be tempted to try a local TV repair shop instead.(if any still exist).
Let's hope Olympus can find you a cheaper option!
