I bought a D5500. Regarding grey imports: Much of my kit comes from overseas, I travel alot and bring stuff home all the time, it's a risk I'm prepared to take, never had a problem and if I did I'd deal with it - glass half full and all that. I'm very pleased.

I travel alot with work and want to display my memories along with their locations on a global map. Otherwise I agree, little point in geotagging any photographs when you know they are all taken in the same location :thinking:

On reflection, does anyone have a eye-fi geotagging that works? A quick Google search throws up loads of disappointed users.

That is a great suggestion, but something me just wants a fully integrated solution so the Nikon has it at the moment.

Thanks for that. I wanted the Nikon when I bought the Canon but the salesman swayed me, and quite rightly at that time. However, today, in my opinion the Nikon 510 has the edge on the SX40HS primarily because of the geotagging facility, something which I'm led to believe is a long way off...
