Broken X-T3 update. There was a T3 on MPB for 400 quid so that is heading my way. Just have sell my old clunker for scrap.

I gave them a call. Had a good conversation but the price would be slightly more than Fuji. Good to clear this as an option. Thanks for the recommendation, Peter.

It was a top plate, front body part and some extras.

It’s a fair question. I was looking at what I could get for the amount that Fuji were asking, and noticed that some T4’s were in that price range. I do like the idea of having a body with IBIS.

So I got a quote from Fuji repairs and it was 600 plus. I’ve rejected the quote and they will send it back free of charge. Kind of scratching my head as what to do next. For that amount there is a T4 available on MPB. Not a camera that’s really excited me. I’ve still got my three lenses, 16-55...

Dreaded shutter curtain stuck open. I’ve tried all the fixes, no luck. I’m not sure sending to Fuji to be repaired will be worth it. They used to give quotes but seems like you have to send the item now.
