Hello
I want to get a flash that I can use off camera with my Olympus OMD Em5 which doesn't break my wallet. The FL600r seems to get reviews but is super expensive and I cannot justify it for the amount of use it will be (I mostly shoot underwater and I have lighting for that). Also, strobist...
I'm yet to start on the colours chapter. I have some ideas but I dont want to use all of the decent ones on the exercises when the assignment is more of the same. My TAOP blog is here: http://theartofphotographybysuzy.wordpress.com/
and be sure to get some kind of red filter for them. Snake river do blurfix filters and backscatter do a flippy magic filter. I have only tried the backscatter one because my blurfix hadnt arrived in time for my most recent trip.
you can check out my videos here if you're interested... all...
I love lowepro bags. Their website even has a bagfinder function to help you choose the right one for your needs. We have several of different sizes fir different reasons. Plus usually their camera sections have Velcro pullouts so you can reconfigure then exactly for your lens etc.
I'm think of getting a drobo that can handle dual redundancy. I have raid 1 in my pc but I've had issues in the past with 2 drives going at once and the raid being unrecoverable :( It's not cheap thou!
thanks Matty. I havent been on it long but I think its great :) The only thing that really annoys me if when people are instagraming images that are not taken with the phone, like SLR scans, its kinda misleading and makes everyone else look bad. Feels like cheating really.
