Finally bit the bullet to get a new holder as my old Cokin p was giving vignetting in pictures. So went with a 100mm system. Since replacing filters I don't have lots to chuck at them. Anyone got recommendations of 2nd hand places? EBay just look good anymore, just looks like possible cheap...

I've just ordered 3 aluminium Di bond prints due to the feedback on here and seeing their customer service that if somethings wrong they will fix it. Excited :)

It is always a difference of opinions as Cotty said, I always have a filter on to avoid the risk of even a stone being pinged up from a passing car/cyclist and smashing/cracking the front optic. BUT i always make sure i have the best filter as to not put crap glass in front of good quality lens...

Now that i've bought a 15-85mm to replace the 17-85mm that broke, i obviously need to replace my filters as they are 67mm and i need 72mm for the new lens. I know i could just buy brand new filters but as i've no use for my old ones is there any shop that would do a sort of part exchange (like...

yeah i think i'll replace it then send it to get repaired and sell it on repaired instead of faulty! will pop into calumet and try out the 15-85 then! I loved the 17mm on the old one so 15 should be even nicer!

From searching the web and reading other posts I think the 15 to 85 would be a good replacement for it. Looking through my old post have motivated me a lot!
