Thanks for the reply, yeah the 70 - 300 seem to be competitively priced s/h. Currently eyeing them up in the for sale section. I agree that for the price difference on the 35 1.8G it makes sense to pay a little more and get a new one. I'll check the my memory site out thanks :)

That's a nice little set up you got, there's enough there to keep you busy for a while. Good luck with your water drop photo, it'll be one of the first projects i do once i get my camera. :)
