Would you give your work away

Well I used to, until I posted some full size photos on this obscure forum - I think it was called Northloop or something, and people started taking them and using them without permission. I seem to remember they were even made into calendars and sold. So no, I don't post anything online at all...

Some interesting points on this thread, and I wholly agree that most people seem to think that because they have bought a nice camera that automatically qualifies them to indulge their hobby on the other side of the fence to the spectators. It just doesn't work like that. Oh and FWIW I made...

    d300 grip

I went the AA route and bought two sets of 8 Eneloop batteries and an extra MS-D10 tray so I can change quickly, plus one EN-EL3e in the camera anyway Can't see the point of spending £100 for the EN-EL4a, £120 on the MH-21 charger plus you need the BL-3 battery cover as well which is another...

    AA batteries

Sanyo Eneloops all the way for occasional use, for regular use I am a fan of the Uniross 2700's because they are no thicker than normal AA's

In need of a 50mm prime (nikon)

Zeiss Planar T 50mm 1.4 - you'll find it difficult to find a sharper lens and certainly one with more character... but it's manual focus only.
