it seems i might have a kenko for sale very sortly as i brought it specifically to use with this sigma.
I am pleased with the initial results without the TC as the lens only arrived yesterday hope to try some more today.
@ bartoszwozniak I have it on a MN393...
I have just got a Sigma 500f4.5 prime and also a Kenko pro300 DG 1.4x TC to use with it.
When together on a D300 AF is very erratic almost non excistant, I thought the Kenkos were suppose to AF ok or do i have to tape pins like on the Sigma TC
thanks for the replies, I am more inclined to go for a 500 prime probably used if i can find one. I dont think i need vr if it mounted on a tripod with gimbal head.
Plus is a Nikon one really worth £1500 to £2000 more?
Getting frustrated in not being to get close enough to get decent shots of wildlife birds in particular with a 300f4 and 1.7tc on a crop sensor (D300) and having decided i cannot afford a Nikon 400f2.8, 500f4 or 600f4 until i either win the lottery or retire.

you can only but try, as i said cant remember the exact location of the camera or if it might have been a mobile one if further out, but generally in this area a lot of limits have been reduced recently. Usually its only when you are pulled over you can dispute the calibration on the mobile ones.
do you mean Bathpool, havent been in that way for a little while but i though it was 30 along there, there is a camera as you get closer to Creech before the bridges
