Hi dewd i live in coupar angus and DTB has given you some great advice we are really central to some of the most fantastic places for photography. Hope you have a great time over easter.
Oh yea and if you fancy a cuppa there is always a brew on here
the d700 uses the same bateries as the d90 so that would be a little less of a pain for you. I upgraded from the d90 to d700 earler this year and have never once regretted upgrading.
cheers dewd looks like i will get a grip sooner than later lol without a grip the D700 and 70-200 feels a bit top heavy but nothing to bad am sure within a few days i will be used to it :)
Ok so i just got my lovely new D700 with 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8 and the camera just feels right in my mucky paws. Just need to save up for a grip now that i am skint lol.
Was itching to take it out and this is the first pic with the 70-200 and boy am i loving this combo
I love my 11-16 on my d90 built like a tank and is lovely and sharp. and a complete bargain at the prices that tokina are asking for it. imho every one should have this lens.
Here is one of my pics taken with it at the start of october.
am afraid that nowhere near me rents and i don't know anyone else about that would be happy letting a camra body so far from them and i am not in a position to have another camera body of my own so i will just have to be very carefull and hope that my one camera is as solid and reliable as it...
Have been using the harness and belt while training the last few months an it works well taking the weight off the shoulders. The think tank gear is really good i found as long as you position the kit bags evenly then it's great.
merino wool or bamboo base layers are superb never skimp on base layer quality as this is the most important thn mid layers and finaly good quality fleeces and jackets.
same as trousers you want light breathable trousers that if wet will dry quickly and proper waterproofs and decent boots...
