Get a Sigma 50-500 and concentrate on the show rather what camera / lens to use.

Not wide open, but you get the idea at 500mm - Sony A900. No cropping!

Excellent piece of kit, and a good decision. You'll have fun learning about its capabilities - quite a jump up from the A200.
