Thanks for that Dave, an excellent price!! The reviews I've read say its a great lens for the money. That leaves around £200-300 for a telephoto. Thanks again Rick

Yeah a budget would help!!! looking at roughly £300, maybe £400 at a push. Also the pictures I would be taking would mainly be portraits of the kids, day trips at the zoo etc. I've heard good things about the canon nifty fifty, and then maybe get a telephoto for my other needs, would...
