Quite so. I have learned that full well with my camera :p. Just wish it would stay clean a little longer after a cleaning. Maybe if I stored the camera in a sealed bag inbetween uses (several weeks at a time) as opposed to just zipped up in the camera bag a cleaning might last longer.

Being a beginner myself I tend to use Aperture Priority simply for ease of use, but I switch to manual when I'm looking to get a certain effect or a specific exposure.
My camera hates me. I clean off the sensor (or have it cleaned) and next time I use it the dust bomber strikes. Drives me nuts. Add to that the dust ingrained on the view finder and on the mirrors and it gets depressing sometimes.
