Quite so. I have learned that full well with my camera :p. Just wish it would stay clean a little longer after a cleaning. Maybe if I stored the camera in a sealed bag inbetween uses (several weeks at a time) as opposed to just zipped up in the camera bag a cleaning might last longer.

Interesting view points. I'll keep these in mind. Being a beginner myself I tend to use Aperture Priority simply for ease of use, but I switch to manual when I'm looking to get a certain effect or a specific exposure.

My camera hates me. I clean off the sensor (or have it cleaned) and next time I use it the dust bomber strikes. Drives me nuts. Add to that the dust ingrained on the view finder and on the mirrors and it gets depressing sometimes.

New guy checking in. Hoping to learn to become a better photographer and make good choices in future equipment purchases. I'll be using the search function to find answers at first, but expect to see me posting images for critique in the near future (once I have the guts to). I shall pester you...
