    New Nokia 808 - 41Mpix onboard camera.

In the Tech Radar hands on comments section there are a few samples that claim to be from the camera, if they are then this is very VERY interesting. http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/hands-on-nokia-808-pureview-review-1066719

    Anyone got a fisheye?

I got a cheapy Zennitar 16mm last year which is comparable to the 8mm samyang on a crop sensor (the samyang could be better to be honest, it is a newer constructed lens), only used it a couple of times so wasn't really looking for anything too expensive, so far tho I've have been impressed with...

    National Geographic bag's ??

I've got a small back pack and had a midi shoulder bag, had to get rid of the shoulder bag as the new camera is a little bit bigger than my old one (d70). Its a shame because i really liked it, they are very hard wearing and lots of little pockets just a bit too thin for the new stuff so got...

    Best consumer DSLR ever ?

I loved my D70 and probably always will as I don't think I'm going to get let it go, but the camera that sort of started the whole consumer DSLR thing was the Canon digital rebel, so that has to be worthy of consideration.

Camera strap to attach to bag loops?

National Geographic do one that you can split in half and attach to there own backpacks, don't know if it would work for what you have in mind but worth a look. http://www.amazon.co.uk/National-Geographic-Explorer-Adventure-Camera/dp/B0017UQRA4

What actual shops sell National Geographic Bags?

I got one of mine from photococan an ebay seller, much cheaper than the uk at the time and came through customs without a problem, quite speedy shipping too. Thedigitalcamerashop.co.uk seems to be quite good price wise but haven't used them before.

    Crumpler backpacks, anyone got one?

I bought a Brian's Hot Tub about 2 years ago, when it turned up I didn't quite realize the size (I’m a bit of a short arse and the bag is about half my size so it looks like I’m carrying someone on my back if I have it on) so its been in the wardrobe ever since, they are very well made though...

***HELP**** Extension tube stuck on lens

Hope we are both right and it comes off easy, mine is for a Nikon mount, so they sound universal across a range of cameras.

***HELP**** Extension tube stuck on lens

I got a pair of cheap tubes from ebay to play with, there is a little silver screw on the very end you have to push back (towards the camera/camera mount end). Don't know if it helps.

    Post your bags here

The one i use the most is a little ng shoulder bag, followed by the small ng backpack, i really like them, kinda old fashioned: http://www.morrisphoto.co.uk/ProductDetails~productID~6730~categoryid~237.html http://www.morrisphoto.co.uk/ProductDetails~productID~6729.html And a couple of...

A poll: How many of you would use HD video mode on the newer SLR's

I voted for 4 but I was close to voting for 3. I'd rather have video and not use it much than not have video and need it once, as long as it doesn’t take any capabilities away from capturing still pictures I don’t see the reason for all the fuss, just another tool in the box.

    An Amateur Newbie Hello

Just a little hello from me, Live near Yarm in Cleveland which is always nice for some scenery, bought a D70 when they first came over here and to be honest didn’t use it that much at first, I think it was a confidence thing but must have got a kick up the shorts from somewhere as it goes...

    This is sacrilege !!

The story I heard was that the British Air Force used a downed plane in the desert to find their bearings coming in to land, which over time disappeared, it was found that the silver had become a sandy brown pink colour which in a heat haze made it blend into the background. But that could...

Will This Lens Be Worth A Bid?

I Have one of these, think it cost about 50 quid on eBay, for that price it’s not too bad, i just wanted a cheap first zoom that i didn’t have to worry about its welfare too much, but like the saying goes you get what you pay for, it is a bit soft and slow (which would probably be the main...
