I didn't have a moan actually, I've been meaning to, but I've been too busy. I'm assuming they've made the offer to everyone who had it cancelled then.

Yesterday I received an email with a voucher code for £51 for this lens, as they now want to honour the incorrect price!

I placed an order, but I've just received an email saying the price was listed incorrectly, and therefore they're cancelling the order :(

Thanks for the idea of a gopro, can't believe I didn't think about one of those. I'll have a look to see what price they go for, see if I can decide if I want it or not. As for the Uni, apparently they have some really good high speed cameras in the cricket centre, but we're not allowed to use...

Well it's more for interest than anything else, so don't want to spend much. If I can get something (second hand) for less than £100, I would seriously consider it, but if it's more than that, I probably won't bother tbqh.

Thanks for that, from a quick look, seems like the J1 can only do 60fps, so probably not enough, but some of those Casio cameras look pretty good, think I'll have a look into those a bit more. Anyone else know of any?

Considering buying a camera with high speed capabilities (would guess 100+ would be enough, but more is better!) Image quality doesn't really matter, as it's not to produce a movie or anything, it's just so I can watch my archery technique in slow motion to check for consistency. really...

Recently decided to get myself a Macro lens for my D7000, and I ended up deciding on the Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro. Problem is, when I've been trying it, it's not been able to reach f/2.8 when focusing close up (it will do when focusing at infinity though) Is this normal, or is this due to...

Also, are there any lenses around that sort of price that don't extend when focusing and/or have some form of vibration reduction?

Would be nice, but it's about twice the price of the Tamron, and if I was going to spend that much, I would probably go for the Nikon 105mm. Cheers of the opinions though all of you, seems like it's probably the right decision :)

I didn't try googling just now, but I did a while ago when I first thought about it, and there didn't seem to be much info on it, and the only thing I could find, was the software from Nikon for it, wouldn't work (Can't remember exactly, but I think it didn't work on W7)

I've been wondering for a while, is there any software, that would work with my Nikon D7000 to store the photos I take straight onto my PC, rather than onto an SD card (I would obviously have to have the camera connected to the PC via USB)? Better yet if it's free, but is there anything out...

That would sell it for me, after all, you're the one that'll be holding it, and using it, you want it to feel as nice as possible. As for what lens, it'll depend what your wanting to take photos of, but as it's your first DSLR, the kit lens is a good one to start with :)
