Ha ha ha We aren't too bad over here.... You'll have to come over one day and join in with us throwing rocks at the big fire ball monster in the sky..... It takes about 12 hours of throwing to scare it away but he always comes back after a while......

Cheers for the input... Its just difficult as all websites say the 300 f4 has very good/excellent image quality And the same ones will say the 70-300 has great/very sharp/ image quality Which is all well and good in a lab test but what will be better for me with all the skills to about manage...

Hi all.. Ive not long had decent Canon gear and I bought a 70-300 L for karting and small circuit motorsport photography Dont get me wrong its a great lens but Im spending most of my time at around 300mm so I thought about a prime... Is the f4 IQ that much better than the 70-300, I wondered...
