iPad pro any good for photographers?

Thanks for the replies everyone, it doesn't look like it will be an iPad pro then! I need a new tablet and was leaning towards iPad as I currently have a 7" android tab which is next to useles since the latest android update and seeing the TV adds for the iPad pro I thought it might be...

iPad pro any good for photographers?

Thanks Kodiac, not the sort of stuff I will doing but interesting to know it can handle it. My laptop is currently my main PC, so I want to know if it would be a viable option as a replacement or do you see it more as an addition to a a PC?

iPad pro any good for photographers?

Hello all, firstly sorry, but due to the many things that life throws at us I have not been on here for a while hopefully I can back into visiting on a more regular basis! Well as the title says, is an iPad pro any good for photographers? I'm talking as a replacement for my ever slowing...

    WiFi SD cards

I've got the transcend 16 gig too. Originally got it for my Panasonic TZ and it worked ok. When I bought my D7100 I tried it and I couldn't get it to work despite Transcend's website saying its compatible. Searched the Transcend site FAQ's and it says to set the meter standby time to as long as...

Calling Minolta Autometer IV F users

Thanks Paul, what I'm asking I guess, is if 5.6 and small 4 is disdplayed does that equate to 5.6+0.4 = 6? I realise I would be probably then be choosing an aperture that is within a third of a stop due to the limitations of the camera. Just want to make sure I fully understand what the meter...

Calling Minolta Autometer IV F users

I have got myself a Minolta Autometer IV F primarily for use with studio flash and I have managed to find a copy of the instructions on line (which I have read, before any one suggests that ;) ). I have had a bit of a play about with it but not yet used it in anger. A couple of things I just...

    Which 50mm Prime???

My Nikon 50mm f1.8 has been on my D7100 pretty much 90% of the time I've had it. Super sharp small and light I find it gets me back to basics. I paid about £60 for mine and its like new! For that price you can't go wrong and if you find you don't use it you'll easily get your money back.

    Presenting a gallery

You obviously have cropped them to show each image at its best, so what about changing the canvas size so that they are all the same, the image proportions can stay the same within the canvas, you could put a subtle frame around the image itself if it helps enhance the image. Without knowing the...
