Been using the Canon 10D since it first came out and just now treated myself to the 7D first time I ever come across the term BBF was on this forum. Up until now its been a case of Focus, recompose, refocus expletives rinse and repeat. Who said you cant teach an old dog new tricks. :)

Creative, the word itself is very subjective to me it depends on who is viewing the image. A seasoned photographer or a casual snapper will look at an image in a different way, like Southdowns says depends how your using the word.

True that is why I said chosen camera /format I am aware of the crop issue was just extolling the virtues of the humble standard lens. :)

I used to teach a group of Hnd and c&g students all at different levels photography speaking. One of the set assignments was to strap a standard 50 or equiv lens for their chosen camera/format and shoot the assignment using that setup. Resulted in some great shots and a better understanding of...

Just finished making a pigs earole of loading images on flickr then off in about 10mins to clean other peoples mess up.

Can anyone tell me if is possible to batch name a set of images in flickr rather than going through every shot. Bit of a newbie at the flickr thing and as I am getting older my patience gets shorter. lol

I still carry a piece of black card with me in my bag, sometimes the hood doesnt do the job so I use the card as a baffle or flag. Granted my camera is usually on a tripod so its easier. Take care poining your camera at the sun I believe u can fry your sensor if ur not careful so I read anyway.

Might be wrong but there was the Lubitel 2 a little tlr not a bad litte camera to get int the m format game but quality control was a bit suspect. Lol

Thanks fitzer will give them a wide birth then, just picked up a 8gb from currys for £29 that will do me for now.
