Yes looked at that on Jessops website whats the real differences between the two ? This is what i can find... .Alpha 300 is noticebly cheaper but 450d .slightly more Mpx so save some money or get the best out of my budget ?

Canon 450d iv had my eye on that :) but mostly because that is the only one iv really seen and had a play with thanks for the advice ill have to go take a look at some more. Any more suggestions Welcome :D
