Thank you Carter - I have been looking around for some websites to find info on it! Haven't spotted one with the manual but I have it now! ;-)

    Chinon CE-4

Thanks for the reply! This is what I'll be picking up on Monday Chinon CE-4. 50mm and 135mm lens. Pentax 26mm lens. Chinon 900 flash attachment. 5 coking filters and attachments. Something to have fun with nonetheless and a wee change from my Nikon D3100! :-)

    Chinon CE-4

Hi everyone, A friend was going to throw out his old camera, a Chinon CE-4 and asked if I would like it! It's obviously very different from my Nikon SLR but I think it could be a useful learning tool as I am still trying to get to grips with ISO, F Numbers, shutter speed etc! Just wondering if...

    Hello

Hi there, I also have a Nikon D3100. Had it since Christmas and I absolutely love it. Would never buy anything other than a Nikon. I am sure, like me, you will learn little bits here and there and grow to love your camera like I love mine! I also recommend joining a local camera club if you...

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and snapping happy. Just wondered if there was any Talk Photography users from the Isle of Skye area? I am about to head up that way for a few weeks so it would be nice to catch up with some of you or hear about any "MUST SEE" photography opportunities...

    Tripod

Hi everyone, thanks for the response and apologies for the late reply. I have managed to order a replacement Manfrotto Tripod (the one which I had before a piece snapped off) however I will look into buying one of the ones you have suggested above as, by the sounds of it, they seem pretty...

    Tripod

Hi everyone, I just wondered if anyone could suggest a good tripod. I had a Manfrotto but sadly a vital part of it has sheered off so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a really sturdy, robust tripod that is well made and will stand the test of time! Many thanks in advance! :-)

    Hello from Buckinghamshire

Hi there, have you searched for any local camera clubs to join? That's what I did when I first got my camera and they are a brilliant way to Learn and ask questions on a regular basis!

    Nikon D3100 Query

Oh! I also meant to ask which screen protectors, if any, you would recommend for the Nikon D3100. I'm trying to stay away from the dreaded film protectors but don't want anything that would leave a sticky residue too!

    What bag for mountain biking?

I use the Lowepro Slingshot 102AW For me it's perfect when cycling as I can stop, use the quick release catch without removing the whole bag and gain quick access to my camera whilst staying on my bike (one foot on the ground) and my bad remaining securely attached to my body! It has plenty...
